The Interrelationship between Secularity and Human Rights

06.11.2019, Konferenz, OI Istanbul

Secularism, secularity and human rights are usually considered as correlated rights and structural principles. As human rights become increasingly established in national and global legal systems and enmeshed in lifestyles demands for secularity increase. The conference will focus on the interrelationship between secularity and human rights with a particular emphasis on the background of the Turkish and German constitutional order.
