On 14 January 2016 the Warburg Institute in conjunction with the research project "Bilderfahrzeuge: Aby Warburg´s Legacy and the Future of Iconology" is organizing the workshop

"Contemporary Image Conflicts: Violence and Iconoclasm from Charlie Hebdo to ISIS"

with David Freedberg (Warburg Institute), Christiane Gruber (University of Michigan), Hugh Kennedy (SOAS, University of London) and Sussan Babaie (Courtauld Institute of Art) on 14 January 2016. The workshop takes place from 2 until 5 pm at the Warburg Institute.
